For those who are interested in following the abiraterone story in more detail, Bernie Boyce has started a blog on his experiences in enrolling in and (he hopes) participating in the Phase III clinical trial of abiraterone under the supervision of Dr. de Bono at the Royal Marsden Hospital in the UK.

Thanks for the mention — it’s appreciated.
Cheers, Bernie
Thanks 4 agreeing to the blog. Let’s hope this new abiraterone drug is as good as they say. My father has metastatic prostate cancer and I am pushing for him to be included in the trials. Although living in Staffordshire could be a stumbling block.
All the very best to you. I wish you the best of luck!
Gary,
I “believe” that they are doing the trial from Christie’s Manchester but it isn’t yet on the official list.
Trust your Dad meets all the crieria — details are on the blog.
