Consumer advocate and talk show host Clark Howard told his US listeners on his radio show today that he had just been diagnosed with early stage prostate cancer.
According to a report on CNNHealth.com, Howard told his listeners that his main point in talking about his diagnosis was to increase awareness among men.
“Guys put themselves in danger by not going to the doctor,” he said. And for the benefit of his female audience he added, “Be a nag. Get your guy in to see the doctor,” especially if he’s 40 or over.
