We have taken advantage of the long weekend to carry out a complete overhaul of the major section on prostate cancer “Risk + Prevention” (see green tabs at top of this page).
In carrying out this overhaul we have made significant revisions to the following pages:
- Prevention: an introduction
- Finasteride and the Prostate Cancer Prevention Trial (PCPT)
- Selenium, vitamin E, and the SELECT trial
Finally, we have deleted an earlier page on “Other major prevention trials” and replaced it with the new page:
We hope that this will provide site users with a more current overview of data on prostate cancer risk and the potential to prevent its development.
