In the chaos of the ASCO annual meeting we had forgotten to point out that June is Men’s Health Month here in America as we lead up to Father’s Day on June 21.
Men’s Health Month is coordinated by the Washington, DC-based Men’s Health Network (MHN) — and (along with Prostate Cancer International and others) MHN is one of the key partners in the collaborative effort to increase national awareness about prostate cancer and funding for specific types of prostate cancer program — from access to care to furthering of new research. For details of MHN’s activities during June, please see their recent media release and/or visit their web sites to find out about specific events around the country and to learn about the Wear BLUE initiative.
