UK-based Oxford BioMedica has announced that it will close a mid-stage clinical trial of its cancer vaccine TroVax (a.k.a. MVA5T4) in U.S. patients with metastatic, castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC). It appears that the company has lost confidence in the potential of the product for the treatment of men with mCRPC nad had been having difficulties enrolling eligible patients into this clinical trial.
