PCF roundtable discussion on prostate cancer research

The Prostate Cancer Foundation is to hold a roundtable discussion on Thursday, April 23 (yes, that’s either tomorrow or today, depending on when and where you are reading this), at 11:15 a.m. to 12:30 pm Eastern, entitled “Discovery & Challenge: The State of Prostate Cancer Research.”

The discussion will feature commentary from eight U.S. experts in the field of prostate cancer research and treatment. The program will focus on the following areas:

  • The current prevalence of prostate cancer
  • Reaching beyond the PSA screening debate
  • Promising scientific breakthroughs
  • Challenges ahead for research and discovery
  • Funding for continued research
  • Models for furthering progress

The event will be held at The National Press Club, 529 14th Street NW, Washington D.C.
