It has taken a while to get there but the Prostate Cancer Roundtable finally has its own web site up and running. This will make it a good deal easier for people to keep up to date with the shared advocacy agenda and related activities of the major, US-based, patient-centric prostate cancer organizations.
A complete media release went out this morning announcing the availability of the site.
For the average reader with an interest in advocacy, onesome of the key issues you may want to be aware of through this web site are:
- The ability to sign on to the Prostate Cance Action LISTSERV (coordinated by Malecare on behalf of the Prostate Cancer Roundtable)
- Access to the complete and current policy agenda of the Roundtable
- The ability to have your support group or other prostate cancer organization formally support that policy agenda
Obviously, this is only the beginning of the Roundtable web site. We hope to see it improve and expand over time.
