The current issue of Urologic Clinics of North America, edited by Mark Moyad, MD, of the University of Michigan Medical Center, includes a series of review articles dealing with complementary and alternative care in the prevention and management of urologic disorders in general and prostate cancer in particular.
While the full text of most of these articles is not be available online unless you are a member of the American Urology Association or a subscriber to the Journal of Urology, the contents list and Dr. Moyad’s preface are freely available. As he notes in this preface, this is the first issue of Urologic Clinics of North America to really focus on complementary and alternative medical techniques in management of urology in a decade.
Specific articles in the issue that are most relevant to prostate cancer include the following:
