The University of Pennsylvania is organizing a “first of its kind”, all-day Prostate Cancer Evidence Academy meeting in Philadelphia on November 13, 2015. Your sitemaster has been invited to coordinate a session on patient advocacy and education at that meeting.
The meeting will be held at The Inn at Penn at 3600 Sansom Street and is open to health professionals as well as to patients, advocates, and survivors. Full details are available on the meeting web site or you can download a detailed brochure if you click here. The attendance fee for patients, advocates, and survivors is only $15.00 so some of our readers in the area may be interesting in attending. Col. Jim Williams of the Pennsylvania Prostate Cancer Coalition will be another of the speakers. You do need to register in advance to attend.
