Yesterday evening we held a CureTalk program on the roles of new imaging and genomic/genetic tests in the diagnosis, work-up, and prognosis of prostate cancer with Dr. David Lee of the University of Pennsylvania.
The entire program is already available on the CureTalk web site for listeners who weren’t able to join us last night. Dr. Lee discussed a wide variety of topics with the panel, including such issues as the use of the Prolaris, Oncotype DX, and Decipher tests before decisions about treatment and after first-line surgery in decisions about adjuvant or salvage radiation therapy. He also went into the use of multiparametric MRI and other new imaging tests in the diagnosis and management of patients over time.
Our thanks to Dr. Lee and our panelists for their time and their assistance.
