At least some of our readers will be interested in knowing about a series of straightforward, clinical review articles on various aspects of prostate cancer diagnosis and management that have just started to be published on line in a new journal called Everyday Urology – Oncology Insights.
This new journal will be published quarterly (i.e., four times a year), and the first issue of the journal contains two articles that may be of interest to members of the prostate cancer community:
- “Considerations in the use of androgen deprivation therapy for the treatment of men with advanced prostate cancer“, by Dr. Thomas Keane, and
- “Embarrassment of riches: therapies that improve overall survival in mCRPC“, by Dr. Neal Shore
This new journal is being published by Digital Science Press Inc., the same people who already give us all access to the UroToday web site. The journal will also contain articles related to other forms of urologic cancer, but …
We intend to make sure that we bring all the relevant prostate cancer articles to the attention of our readers as they are published.

Thanks for the post. We will be adding a journal registration to the website in late October and will announce when available.
This is an interesting post. Appreciate that you will monitor it’s content. I read the two articles and found them very useful. I am troubled by the amount of advertising for abiraterone that surrounded the articles but I know that is what pays the bills.
Thanks for understanding the advertising. For the first 7 years of the site it was privately funded and we decided that advertising would remove the burden from the readership and allow us to be the reference site we have become. The content is not influenced by advertisers. Thanks for your clarity on the bills needing to be paid!
