For those who really want all the details, the full text of the report from the Advanced Prostate Cancer Consensus Conference (APCCC) 2017 is now available on line.
The report represents a summary (in 34 pages) of views about “where we are at” from a “who’s who” of experts in the evaluation and management of men with advanced forms of prostate cancer from around the world.
Your sitemaster isn’t going to even try to summarize what is already a summary. This is one of those documents that the truly obsessed cancer advocate needs to read for himself in its entirety.

I did about a 45-minute quick perusal of the full report and found it quite interesting. I would love to know what the individual votes were for some of my favorite specialists in the treatment of our insidious men’s disease.
I believe the full report should be of interest to those of us who have involved ourselves in research and deep study of understanding prostate cancer, its treatment, and treatment of the side effects that often accompany most treatment options in order to serve as mentors to men diagnosed with our disease as well as their caregivers who often are the ones seeking answers for their loved ones.
Thanks very much for this! Not a truly obsessed cancer advocate, just a caregiver researching options for spouse, but there were useful bits that made it a worthwhile read!
