Canadian residents have an opportunity to join one or other of two free, online educational programs with Richard Wassersug, PhD, the lead author of the book, Androgen Deprivation Therapy: An Essential Guide for Prostate Cancer Patients and Their Loved Ones. The upcoming webinar dates are Wednesday, November 30, and Thursday, December 14, both at 3:00 pm PST), with more webinars planned for 2018. (Space for each webinar is limited.)
The programs is designed to help prostate cancer patients (and their partners) manage the side effects of ADT. Brief information about the programs are given below. Further details, and access to online registration can be found at www.LifeOnADT.com.
Who is the program for?
This program is ideally for patients who are about to start ADT, but patients who are already on ADT are welcome. Partners of patients starting or already on ADT are encouraged to attend also. This current series of webinar classes is offered to patients and their partners in Canada only. Any questions can be e-mailed to LifeOnADT@gmail.com.
Structure of the class
Each class is a single 1.5-hour-long interactive webinar, which is professionally facilitated. Patients will also receive a free copy of the book: “Androgen Deprivation Therapy: An Essential Guide for Prostate Cancer Patients and Their Loved Ones.”
