A company that is developing new forms of targeted treatment for late-stage prostate cancer is seeking some help from one or two members of the prostate cancer patient community. Specifically, they are looking for a couple of patients who meet the following criteria:
- They need to live here in the USA.
- They must have metastatic, castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC).
- They must already have received treatment with both
- Some form of taxane chemotherapy (e.g., docetaxel / Taxotere or cabazitaxel / Jevtana)
- At least one of the “new” forms of androgen suppressive agents (e.g., abiraterone acetate / Zytiga or enzalutamide / Xtandi or similar)
- They must still be on standard androgen deprivation therapy (ADT), such as leuprolide acetate / Lupron or similar.
- They must have a rising PSA.
- Ideally, their caregivers (spouse, partner) should also be available, but that is not essential
If you meet these criteria and you are willing and able to talk about how you have been dealing with your condition, as defined above, please leave an e-mail address (not public) and a message in the comment box below and the sitemaster will get in touch with you to provide more information.
