As a follow-up to our earlier post on this topic, we have now identified the original media release issued by Kings College London and the UK’s National National Cancer Intelligence Network (NCIN) on which today’s article in The Daily Telegraph (and other media) was based. A report in The Daily Telegraph today states that “experts at King’s College London have now found the proportion of men with prostate cancer who actually die from it to be higher than previously thought.” Supposedly, the new research finding is that for 49 percent of 20,000 men diagnosed between 1997 and 2007 “prostate cancer was the principal cause of death.” … READ MORE …
