Arnon Krongrad, MD (Co-Founder)

arnon-krongrad.jpgArnon Krongrad, MD, one of the two co-founders, is also the founder and director of The Krongrad Institute (a private center devoted to individualized, state-of-the-art, minimally invasive prostate surgery) and the developer of Surgeo.com (an innovative on-line system for seeking and finding high-quality surgical service providers).

He studied and cared for men with prostate cancer for 25 years.


E. Michael D. (“Mike”) Scott (Co-Founder and President)

mike-red-shirt.jpgMike Scott, the other co-founder, is a health care communications specialist and an executive with an independent health care communications group of companies. He has a special interest in consumer education about cancer and certain other disorders.

Mike is an affiliate member of the American Urological Association and an associate member of the American Society for Clinical Oncology. He is also one of the original founders of the National Prostate Cancer Coalition (now known as ZERO — The Project to End Prostate Cancer).


Angela Jenkins (Secretary and Outreach Ambassador)

Angela Jenkins is the Outreach Ambassador for The “New” Prostate Cancer InfoLink.

Angela, the wife of a prostate cancer survivor, has worked with non-profits over the past 30 years in the areas of research, development, and fund-raising. She can be contacted directly by any individual or organization interested in developing a collaborative relationship with The “New” Prostate Cancer InfoLink. She has a particular interest in developing awareness of prostate cancer in under-served populations within the USA and internationally.


Jan Manarite (Executive Vice President)

janJan Manarite was appointed Executive Vice President of Prostate Cancer International in September 2016.

Her late husband, Dominic Manarite, died of metastatic prostate cancer after a 13-year-long journey, and Jan has become a well-known communicator, educator, and advocate for prostate cancer patients and their families. She joined Prostate Cancer International after working in various positions with PCRI and PAACT. And we’re delighted to have her!


Michael B. Williams, MD (Medical Director)

michael-williams.jpgMichael Williams, MD, was appointed as Medical Director of Prostate Cancer International in December 2018. He received his MD degree from the University of Texas Health Sciences Center, in San Antonio, TX. He completed his residency training in urology at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, VA. After completing his fellowship in urologic oncology at the M. D. Anderson Cancer Center, in Houston, TX, he returned to Virginia Beach, VA, where he is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Urology, Eastern Virginia Medical School, and a member of the staff of Urology of Virginia.
