We note — largely for the benefit of support group leaders and others involved in the prostate cancer education process — a report from a group of Italian researchers of a case of metastatic prostate cancer involving multiple nodular lesions to the skin on the patient’s chest.
This case study, reported by Pistone et al., was published in Case Reports in Dermatology in May this year. Cutaneous metastases of this type as a consequence of metastatic prostate cancer is extremely unusual.
