New “CureTalk” on “Living well with prostate cancer”

At 6:00 p.m. Eastern time (3:00 p.m. Pacific) this coming Monday, April 24, 2017, Prostate Cancer International and the CureTalks group will be coordinating a call-in teleconference on issues relating to “Living well with prostate cancer”. Our guest will be Dr. Paul Schellhammer, a highly-regarded and well-known urologist and prostate cancer patient who has been doing his best to “live well” with his prostate cancer for well over a decade.

To get more information about this teleconference and to register to participate, please click here to visit the telecon web site. This will be the first of a two-part series on living well with prostate cancer. The second part will focus on recent and potential new research that is being or could be done to provide better and more reliable information for the patient community.

For those who are unable to call in  to the live event, please note that these teleconferences are recorded and will be available on line (usually within 24 hours) after the actual event. You will be able to access the audiorecording at the same web site as that given above.

We have been advised by Dr. Schellhammer that a detailed update to his personal prostate cancer journey was published in 2016 in the Turkish Journal of Urology. He had been invited to write this article by the editors of that journal, and the entire text is available online (in English).

  1. Can I receive this via my tablet? I live in Sweden.

  2. George:

You won’t be able to listen to it live, but you should certainly be able to listen to the audiorecording over the web afterwards.
